|  The doors of STL Java &Cafe opened on June 3, 2007. We have spent four years researching the coffee business. We have attended coffee shows and seminars throughout this time. We believe in quality customer service and we want to deliver this specialized service to individuals who walk into our coffeehouse. 
"It's More Than a Cup" is the specially crafted motto of STL Java& Cafe. This means that with each cup of coffee you consume, there is a unique personality in that cup. Its starts with a single farmer that could be a half a world away. He and his family sacrifice their physical bodies as well as family life to pick the perfect bean. The farmer is given an opportunity to "share" the fruit of his labor with others that may be half a world away. The roasters then takes the green beans picked by the farmer and roasts them to perfection. The roaster sells the beans to a coffeehouse owner where the Barista artistically makes the best cup of coffee you have ever tasted. From the Farmer, to the Roaster, to the Barista, all have displayed a form of "sweat equity" to provide the best cup of java, to provide the best customer service, the best ambience and the best quality product, hence the motto, "It's More Than a Cup" On, July 31, 2009, STL Java & Cafe closed it location. We have had an awesome 2 years of service with the help of our loyal customer base. We have decided to make STL Java your online source of coffee beans. Even though we don't have the location anymore, you can still purchase your favorite beans from our website.
